![]() If the timer was stopped on pause, the challenge time would be lower because we took it in account. I may retry one day, when I'm done with others games and I feel I have some patience and motivation to hit myself repeatedly on a brick wall. It seems a bit unfair.Īgain, if the timer wasn't in real time and paused when I paused, it would probably be manageable. Seeing pausing the game to make an overlord, give it a direction, give it the order to throw, modify the arc so zombies don't die on landing or hit a wall, take soooo long, I have no idea how I'm going to do that. You presume you will not be able to make it and then decide this is impossible so you don't change anything in your approach. I see the size of the level, I see the time limit, I say: No way I will even be able to make it with so little time left, and I restart. I didn't even tried to really find alternate ways. And the changes in the level made it easier to complete the objective because some players struggled here. Unless of course you modify the level again, but you know. Some challenges need you to be familiar with subtleties that can be hard to spot unless you've played for a little while, so yeah it makes it easier. ![]() Seeing pausing the game to make an overlord, give it a direction, give it the order to throw, modify the arc so zombies don't die on landing or hit a wall, take soooo long, I have no idea how I'm going to do that.Īgain, if the timer wasn't in real time and paused when I paused, it would probably be manageable. Unless of course you modify the level again, but you know. Seeing in that case replaying it later won't give me more abilities or advantages that I know of, I don't see why I shouldn't get the challenge and be done with it. I tend to knock challenges of this type as soon as I can so I don't have to replay the level later. This one isn't and its conditions are horribly arbitrary, with almost no leniency. All the previous challenges were about puzzle solving. I don't even understand why running zombies have to stop running and force you to click them again. Because everyone thought it was horrible to not have that. In case you don't know, the saving mid level and ability to select an individual from a crowd were added features in the lemming games remakes. No possibility to save mid level forcing you to restart everything EACH TIME. Knowing than if you can't click fast enough, the lemming will bounce and go the other way or run into a death trap. Playing at max speed making interractions difficult Clicking one individual in a horde without having the luxury to pause It's like everything people hated about lemmings, but with the addition of a timer that isn't based on game time, but on real time. The whole playing on fast makes clicking zombies a pain. ![]() The whole process takes way too long, and you have to pause, after what you have to restore speed to fast. It's difficult enough to create overlord and make them throw others zombies when I want. The fact the timer keeps ticking even when you pause is a terrible move. I pretty much stopped playing at that mission. The layout of the level was changed apparently, and it's no longer like it was in the video I watched.
